South High School Alumni Foundation

Which graduating class can raise the most money to benefit students and teachers at our alma mater, South High School?
The South High School Alumni Foundation, between now and October 27, is challenging members of Colt Nation’s 59 graduating classes to pledge their support.
We will announce the winner during the Foundation’s annual Hall of Fame Banquet at Pueblo Community College on Nov. 3. And we will share it on our social media accounts that evening, too.
The Foundation has spent about $500,000 in cash and in-kind donations since it was formed in January 2006. Our projects, like our donations, come in all sizes, from letter jackets for students in need to creating a brick-and-paver courtyard in the front of the school that is used by hundreds of students a day, to buying rally flags for the Cannon Game and hundreds of Chrome Books for student use.
Recently, we spent $12,600 on a new Art Department kiln and art supplies, exercise mats for the wrestling/multipurpose room, PE uniforms for students in need, and Chemistry Department scales. Soon, work will begin to refurbish the outbuilding behind the swimming pool into a year-round, bad weather practice facility for baseball, softball and golf teams; dance and cheerleading squads; and gym classes for stretching exercises.
We are registered as a 501c3 non-profit organization. You can contribute one of two ways:
